I’m sorry, I seem to have lost all of my inspiration. Captions would “speak” to me, but I don’t feel anything looking at my dashboard right now.
This is probably tied to my depression.

I am working on something not related to writing though that I hope will benefit everyone on Tumblr.

Here’s some fun facts. 53% of my views come from the US, with the other half being a smattering of 61 other countries. Second and third place is UK and Germany. There’s even users in St. Vincent & Grenadines, which is pretty cool. Most of my users use Chrome as a browser. 2/3rds of my readers are 35 and under. Only 1/3 of my readership is listed as male (Google only lists two genders as options).

Also apparently this post about chastity and incest still drives a lot of traffic to my blog despite how old it is. Yay incest?

I kind of wonder how Google Analystics knows all of this…

Aw, thank you for tagging me. Well, as you can tell from looking at my Tumblr, I tend to write captions based on pictures. As in, the picture prompts the story. I try not to think of captions without pictures, because finding a picture to match can be a really long and annoying process.

For longer works, I tend to use a variety of sources for erotic scenes. One of course, is porn, but porn is not realistic. It’s hot, but porn is not real. Guys need to be stretched, guys need to be clean, guys need to use lube, and not every gay guy likes anal or can take a big dick. I think realism makes a scene more believable, so I’ll often piece together a scene from both porn and real life. I read /r/gaybros on Reddit, watch gay films, Youtube channels on gay topics (bump to Watt’s the Safeword), blog articles, etc. However, Tumblr is like the best source. There are so many guys doing amateur porn, posting their own naked selfies, telling their own sexy stories. I read their writing, look at their pictures, see what they’re wearing, where the scenes take place, the expressions on their faces… that’s all real. You ever watch the way Castro Kinky plays with his boys? The expressions on their faces are real.

So I think meshing both together creates the best scenes. Or at least, that’s what I try and go for. Sure, they may fuck like rutting dogs in heat, but they’re gonna joke about wet sheets afterwards and complain about doing the laundry. And seriously – when was the last time you watched porn, and the top made sure the position worked for the bottom and took time to make sure he was comfortable?

I need to make some changes to this blog, and I’m having some issues. It boils down to the fact that I know very little about my readership. I have like 7800 follows, but still only get 20-30 likes per post. I honestly have no idea how many active readers I have or what time zone they’re in.

I have activated Google analytics for my Tumblr. If everyone could please just click to my Tumblr landing page here once, through now and Sunday, it would really help. Right click, open new tab. Give it a second. Close. Very easy. You can also activate it by opening any specific post.

The data would be extremely useful in helping this blog move forward. Thank you!

So I posted earlier today that I was starting a Patreon to help contribute to finishing my novel. I decided I wasn’t happy with it and took it down.

Also, I’m scaling back this blog to five days a week instead of posting every day. It’s just too hard of a pace to keep going after three years. Thanks for reading.
