It’s the end of 2013. I’m not gonna lie, this was not a good year for me in pretty much every way. I will say though that having 1950+ readers honestly has done wonders for my mental health, so thank you. Seriously. Thank you all. The messages you guys send me are ridiculous. I’ve given people boners! Mwuahaha.

Lastly, a bit on my e-book Sticking the Landing: 9 total people in the US, UK, and Australia, have purchased it, and I’ve given 8 away. Quick FYI – a kind reader in the UK pointed out there were some pretty serious typos in Sticking The Landing, including the fact I skipped chapter six and went right to seven! (wtf was I on crack?)

I uploaded an updated version to both Smashwords and Amazon; it might take Amazon up to 12 hours to update the file/for the link to go live.

I have put so many hours into this short story and your support would be very appreciated. This is the summary:

Jonas Li and Fin Davidson thought their college romance would last forever, but between Fin’s brutal gymnastics schedule and Jonas’s commitment to the Police Academy, there wasn’t even time for a kiss. Unable to reconcile, they both accepted it was the end…until six years later when an emergency suddenly thrusts Fin back into Officer Li’s life. Is there still a chance to save broken love?

I took Christmas off from writing to go skiing (passes were on sale!), and it was really wonderful to come back and find both my dash full of gorgeous naked men and a bunch of new followers. Tumblr has never looked so sexy. Also, seems you guys really liked reading about the houseboy’s new puppy! I wonder what he named it.

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas (or a Happy Hannukah). Can’t wait to see who will be showing off their new toys tomorrow. Good night!

(btw – Has anyone seen the SNL skit the Californians? I always thought it was an embellishment….until today. I had to pick up a friend before I left town and in 90 minutes these are the highways I had to take: the 10, the 110, the 5, the 134, the 210, the 15, and the 2. Jesus Christ.)

For the past couple of months, I’ve been working on releasing my first e-book. It’s not really a book, or even a novella, it’s a vanilla short story involving a gymnast and a cop trying again. If I can swing it, it will go on sale on Christmas for 99 cents. The working title is Sticking the Landing.

However, you will be able to get it for free if you feel offended at having to pay for it. Also nothing is gonna change on this end – the Tumblr train will keep on rolling.

I wanna comment on this… there is a huge lack of sources on pictures, especially gifs. If there’s no watermark, there’s nothing to go on, unless you can recognize porn stars by their tattoos or faces (or cocks). You can do a revere image search, but with hot guys and porn stars most of the time it’ll take you to other Tumblrs, Pinterest accounts, Blogspot pages, or Russian social networking sites. (It’s easier to track down celebrities and athletes because popular images show up on press sites.) Even if you find the porn actor’s name, tracking down the video or photoshoot can be damn difficult because most of the originals are behind pay walls. Finding the photographer can be equally impossible.

Hell, even if an image was originally created and posted by a Tumblr user, there is no way to guarantee that the first poster of a certain image is the content creator. Same with Flickr – might not be their image. You can send them an Ask but you may never hear back.

We do the best we can. Also – putting URLs on every reblog can get annoying, yes, but it’s the only way for Tumblr sites to advertise themselves to other followers. Hard to resist the temptation.
