Why is it so fucking hard to find ONE photo of a guy snuggled up in bed? Every picture I’ve found, they’re either on top of the sheets or it’s some random chick with her tits out. And in most of them, it’s daylight! Do men not sleep in their beds at night anymore? Frustrating as hell, man.

I recently changed my Facebook profile to a Facebook author page which will make it easier to interact with my readers of my published work.

I’m starting to feel like I’m starving for material to caption. I’m following 70 blogs right now, but few update as frequently as I post. Most of what is on my dash is still shots of naked guys standing there being naked with the same expression on their faces. Now, that’s a fine sight in its own right – I mean, cock, come on – but those pictures don’t inspire captions.

My best captions come from photos that appear to be stills from a scene, those with interesting facial expressions or natural poses/backgrounds. Often stills from porn videos and gifs are great for this, the less staged the better. I could definitely use a source featuring collared boys or beautiful nudes.

If anyone can recommend some Tumblrs to check out, please PM them to me. And feel free to submit pictures.

PS: – I’m already following lockedndenied, indianatractorboy, thehomosexuallyfrustrated, dominatingpowerbottoms, femme4masc, and wizmutt.

PPS – I have nothing against women, but I would prefer Tumblrs that do not feature sexual scenes involving women. It’s very jarring to be scrolling through my dash in a mood to write and seeing a giant vagina. Actually, I think a giant vagina is jarring anyway, but you get the point..

I recently began work on my third publication, and last night I hammered like out like three new pages of dialogue… I saved it, but over night my internal computer battery dislodged and since my power surge protector was off, my computer shut off completely. Woke up to find all that work gone. I was able to recover about a quarter of it by opening the .wbk file in Wordpad, but unfortunately, the best part looked like this:

Writer friends, two words: Auto Recovery. Turn that shit on, make sure there is a destination for the file, and set it to recover every minute. Or else, you get this.

Hey there GBK! Life is going alright. Unemployed at the moment, but I have some leads for Monday.

The anthology the story Orion’s New Leash On Life is in, Mended, in will be released June 1st. Since it’s May, the presale price is now $49.99. That said, I presume the individual story is going to be sold that day as well but I haven’t heard anything else about it. I received the galley proof (basically a test PDF) to check for final mistakes last week, and the copyrights dictated it was for the anthology. I guess for the individual one, they just swap out the cover and cover credit.

It is exciting, but mostly it’s kind of surreal. There’s something called semantic satiation in where if you say a word too many times, it stops sounding like a real word. It’s kind of happening with this story. I wrote it in a month, then got immediately thrown into editing. Four rounds of editing, and after each one I read it outloud to listen for errors. It doesn’t really feel like something I wrote anymore. Also because the editors at Dreamspinner are amazing, and I’ve never produced anything so polished. Definitely feeling like I’m a person in that meme, “I wrote that? I wrote that”.

Also – I’m a little excited about this, but I can’t really tell anyone about it without having to fib about what it’s about. Cause if I make it sound too general, like a romance story, they’re gonna wanna read it – and if I say it’s about pup kink, then they’re gonna think I’m a pervert. So it’s kind of frustrating I can’t really talk about it in real life.
