Pierre-Arthur Raveau in “Marco Spada”

New “Premier Danseur” of the Paris Opera Ballet

As Pierre-Arthur struck a pose in front of an audience full of people, he remembered what his first ballet teacher taught him while rapping at his feet with a meterstick, “You will be dancing for the glory of France. Any failure to be less than perfect will be seen as mutiny to her legacy of the arts! Point those toes, point!” Marco would not be anything less than excellent beyond excellence. He could not and would not.

I finalllly got my hands on the captivating photobook Dancers Among Us by Jordan Matter. I previously posted a favorite, of Matt Oaks doing a jump while nude in the shower. There’s two more images you all will love:

The top one is titled “Off Your Feet”, featuring Brendan Barthel and Victor Talledos kissing in the infamous Castro District in San Francisco. Sweet <3.

The bottom one made me swoon – I have such a thing for men in point shoes, good lord. It’s titled “Morning Routine” and the dancer is Paul Busch of the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet. You might not see this image anywhere else online. I actually couldn’t find it and had to request it from Mr. Matter himself; his studio manager sent it to me. Thanks Mr. McCowan!

This Roberto Bolle, one sexy motherfucker. I have never seen a man with such a perfect chest. And that smolder! That ass! No wonder he is a superstar in Italy for his roles in multiple ballet companies there, but he currently dances with the American Ballet Theatre. He’s in his 30s and ages like fine wine… ya know what, I think for the next late night ballet relog session I’ll do a little feature on him cause he is cute.

Good night all~

This is for tumblr user underneathalemontree as they liked the previous post. Here are more Edward Watson photos; he is a ballet dancer and choreographer. Besides being lithe and muscular and red-headed, he is exceptionally British-looking which is endearing somewhat.
